Description
The ENCAP Heart of Omaha 5K Fun Run is designed for the whole family. Whether you run, walk, or wheel this run is for you and will display North Omaha’s rich history past, present, and future. The run begins at 9:00am May 18th. The route will take you past some of North Omaha’s great historical sites such as the Omaha Star, the Great Jewel Building, and the Martin Luther King Memorial. This is a flat, fast 5K which will feature local jazz musicians throughout the course. Markers will be posted every mile. The post race party will include pancakes served up by your very own local “Pancake Man” and live jazz music by Session 7.
