3rd ANNUAL CYCLE FOR TOMMY STRONG

A month-long fundraising event in honor of Brain Cancer Awareness Month

Please join us during the month of May - Brain Cancer Awareness Month - for our 3rd Annual Cycle for Tommy Strong as we raise money to fund important pediatric brain cancer research and raise awareness of the #1 deadliest type of childhood cancer.

Last May 40 riders joined together to cycle 4000+ miles and raised more than $25,000 to help support an innovative multi-armed clinical trial developed by the Pacific Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Consortium. This year we hope to raise more funds to make an even greater impact in the fight against pediatric brain cancer.

Cycle (on or off the Peloton) or encourage the kids to log miles on their bikes. Pledge a certain number of miles or rides for the month of May and invite friends and family to sponsor you ($ per mile? $ per ride? flat donations?). Fundraise on your own, or create/join a team to fundraise with friends. Please spread the word and ask your fellow riders to join us. Follow the other #tommystrong riders all month long here on the leaderboard. Have fun spreading awareness and making a difference for children fighting brain cancer!

If you have a Peloton bike or app, please join our hashtag leaderboard team, #tommystrong. Throughout Brain Cancer Awareness Month we will post about weekly rides with a live leaderboard that you can join and ride with fellow #tommystrong riders. Click here to add the #tommystrong tag to your Peloton account.

*Our kickoff ride will be Kendall Toole's 30 min Pop Ride on Sunday, May 1st at 8:00am. Please join if you can!*

Thank you for joining the fight with us!

Brain cancer is the deadliest type of childhood cancer, having surpassed childhood leukemia. There are many different subtypes of pediatric brain cancer making life-saving research and treatment difficult. Sadly, the National Cancer Research Budget only allocates 4% of their research dollars to pediatric cancer research, therefore medical researchers must look elsewhere for their funding. Private foundations, such as the Tommy Strong Foundation, are committed to finding cures and better treatments for children with cancer and collaborate with medical community to make advancements in pediatric cancer research.
