All Cancers Suck 5K Run /Walk (RACE ON!!!!!!!) In person Sat 7:30-8:45am

Rain or Shine 5K....heavier rain may limit color activity.  Online closed 8:30 p.m. Thursday, or visit The Sussex County FAIRGROUNDS on Friday August 17th 5-7 p.m. (Friday rate below) for TEAMS AND INDIVIDUALS at the tent /parking area next to the Conservatory, FOLLOW SIGNS.  Same day registration opens 7:30 a.m. for teams and individuals in the parking area next to the Conservatory.  Main Street Events NJ welcomes all to All Cancers Suck 5K Color Run/Walk presented by Coldwell Banker Mortgage of Sparta, iHeart Media and Regional Cancer Care Center of Sparta.  Others welcome with support are Newton Medical Center, Highlands State Bank, Alpha Fitness of Newton, Whiskey Crossing, Thorlabs, Rev It Up 5K/10K, Culligan Water of NJ, Gormley Family, Cailey Jewelers, Leppert Group Inc., Sussex County Farm & Horse Show Association, Bagel Station and Stop and Shop of Sparta.

You will enjoy multiple Summer throws of color with tarps to roll around, finish area color, goodie bags and sunglasses while supplies last, finish area water misters, multiple water stops, live music onsite with Whiskey Crossing and on the course with the fellowship of runners and walkers at the Sussex County Fairgrounds.  Recognize those who are and have struggled with cancer with a race dedicated to the celebration of life.  Enjoy Master Ken’s Xtreme Martial Arts Center at 8:15 a.m.  Alpha Fitness warms up everyone at 8:40 a.m. and Zumba dance party after 9:30 a.m.  A few vendors will be on hand to educate you as well.  Home Spun Merry-Go-Round will be on hand (weather dependent) for kids.

Registration continues through race day, and donations are greatly appreciated.  Upon clicking register today... the cost is $30 thru Augusta 16th 8:30 p.m., then runs $35 afterwards thru August 17th at the pre registration tent between 5-7 p.m.  Same day will now by $35 and team entry discounts no longer apply.  Students 18 and under pay $25 through race day.  Online closes August 16th 8:30 P.M.   Meet up with Massage Envy for therapeutic care.

Color throws packets will be available this year for a donation of your choice.  Best used as you finish in celebration!!

 The event will be chip timed for runners registered, posting results for the top three male and females with blown glass awards.  No individual medals will be awarded as referred from fellow runners.  However, times were desired, and therefore runners wishing to know finishing times will be chipped.  Walkers will be chipped as not many responded to the different format, but Friday and Saturday same day registration will be offered no chip option to save money for the beneficiary, and view clock only as they finish.
