Cape May County’s Most Unique Event! Runway 5K/10K & 1 Mile Fun Walk (75 minute time limit) May 18, 2019

Run for History!  Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum, located at the Cape May Airport, is excited to bring this event back to historic Hangar #1! With the cooperation of the Delaware River & Bay Authority (operators of the Cape May Airport), the airport will temporarily close to air traffic to allow runners and walkers this unique opportunity to compete on the runway and finish INSIDE THE MUSEUM! And, it’s for a good cause. Proceeds will benefit restoration efforts of historic Hangar #1 which is listed on both the National and State of NJ register of Historic Places. Enjoy music, a FREE Craft Beer, bagels, water, fruits and refreshments post-race! Electronic timing and officiating by DelMoPRO. Race day registration begins at 7am, race begins promptly at 9am! Early registration is highly recommended. Come join us!

For safety reasons and because of the run's secure location, 10K runners must maintain a 12 minute per mile pace for the race (75 minutes total). 
The runway will be cleared of race participants by 10:15 a.m. Participants who are unable to maintain pace WILL BE diverted to a shorter route so they are able to complete the event by this time. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS.
