Welcome to the 2nd Annual Community Uplift 5K!
The Community Uplift 5K is a fun run/walk to promote healthy lifestyles and support the programs of the Greater Essex Community Uplift Foundation (GECUF). Click here to learn more about GECUF. This year, the 5K will be in-person with the start/finish line at the Omega Family Resource and Learning Center. After the 5K, we'll have a post-race celebration at the OFRLC. We'll also be conducting a health fair throughout the day.
This event will be conducted in partnership with the Eta Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.

You are also welcome to take additional precautions based on your health situation. Should the Covid situation evolve and additional measures become required, we will notify participants of the additional measures and enforce them the day of the event.
8. I don't want to run, but how can I help?
There are a couple ways you can help the event. We are in need of race day volunteers, so we'd love to have you join us and help out. We also welcome donations from those who are unable to attend in person. GECUF is a 501c3 organization, so your donations are tax-deductible.
