The Escape the Cape Triathlon Presented by Inspira Health was voted the BEST TRIATHLON in the Mid-Atlantic & North East Regions. ETC offers Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons, aquabikes, relays as well as a 3 Mile Swim. New Jersey’s Best Triathlon, Escape the Cape, starts with a 12 foot jump off the Cape May-Lewes Ferry.
Olympic Triathlon: 1 Mile Swim + 23 Mile Bike + 5 Mile Run
Olympic Aquabike: 1 Mile Swim + 23 Mile Bike = Done!
Sprint Triathlon: .35 Mile Swim + 12 Mile Bike + 5K Run
Sprint Aquabike: .35 Mile Swim + 12 Mile Bike = Done!
Open Water Swim: 3 Miles
Kids' Triathlon: 50 Meter Swim, 1 Mile Bike, .5 Mile Run
Note: This event is not wheelchair friendly as the run goes through sand multiple times.
