Paws for Heroes 5k Run / 1-Mile Fun Walk

"Paws for Heroes" sponsored by Fitness Mastered will benefit Canines for Veterans, a national program that provides trained service dogs to Veterans with disabilities.  This program operates entirely on private donations and teaches hand chosen canines more than 90 commands that can assist our wounded heroes in accomplishing day to day tasks.  Entry fee is $25.00 and all participants will receive a "goody bag" filled by event sponsors with a complimentary event wristband.  Water will be available along the course.  Following the event, participants are invited to join Fitness Mastered in post race refreshments and an award ceremony.  Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall 5k Run finishers and the most enthusiastic walker.  Participants are invited to bring their leashed 4-legged companions.
