Description

Join us for our Second Annual Courage Against Cancer 5k. Proceeds from the race will go to The American Cancer Society.

The 5K run kicks off at 9:00 am and the walk kicks off at 9:30am from the WINDSOR ATHLETIC CLUB (WAC).

Race day packet pickup starts at 7:30am.

There will also be a short warm-up session from 8:40-8:50am, led by Empower Yoga.

This is a flat course. Runners/walkers will complete three 1 mile laps on part trail/part road before crossing the finish line and earning their finisher t-shirt and race medal. Refreshments will be provided during and after the race.

Finisher shirts and medals to the first hundred participants.

Awards:
First place overall male/female will receive a 1 year membership to the WAC.
Top male/female in each age group will be awarded as well.
Since the race takes place the day before Mother’s Day, we will also have an award for mother/daughter and mother/son teams.
