Rubin Run Satellite Parking with Shuttle Service to the JCC available Sunday, May 12 at 910 Sylvan Avenue.
Look for signage along Route 9W/Sylvan Avenue, two traffic lights south of Clinton Avenue (on the left when heading north), directing you to the Rubin Run parking spaces at 910 Sylvan Avenue, Englewood Cliffs. Once you enter the complex, go straight back and follow signs for the 910 building. Designated parking area will be directly across from the building on the left.
Frequent shuttle service will be available for the race on Sunday, May 12 from 6:30 am – noon. Pick ups and drops offs will be marked with signage at 910 Sylvan Avenue and at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades at 411 East Clinton Avenue, Tenafly.
Please DO NOT PARK at the St. John Theologian Greek Church for Rubin Run.

Your registration is processed via RunSignup's secure online registration form.
On-line registration closes Wednesday, May 8 at 11:59pm. Thereafter, registration will be available at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades on Thursday, May 9, 8am-9pm and Friday, May 10, 8am-6pm. Event day registration will be available at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades on Sunday, May 12, 6:30am until 30 minutes prior to each race start.
Packet pick-up will be available at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades Thursday, May 9, 8am-9pm and Friday, May 10, 8am-6pm. Event day packet pick up starts at 6:30am on Sunday, May 12 and will close 30 min prior to each race start.
WEATHER: All events will take place rain or shine.
FEES: Race entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
TRAIL RUN: Open to ages 15+; Experienced runners recommended. All runners must be off the course by 9:30 am.
AMENITIES: Giveaways to race participants while supplies last.
PETS: The Rubin Run is a dog free event. Please leave pets at home.
FOOD: Food provided is kosher certified.
TIMING: We use Chrono Track B-Tag electronic timing. All participants of the 10K & 5K MUST wear a bib number on the front of their shirt. Trail Run participants MUST wear ankle timing. Awards are determined by clock time only.
FINISH/TIME LIMIT: In the interest of safety, and to allow streets to resume normal traffic, 10K and 5K race courses will remain open until 11:30 am at which time the course will be cleared of remaining runners. All TRAIL RUN participants must be off the course by 9:30 am.
AWARDS: Trophies awarded to the top three male and female winners in each age category (as it applies), for each race: 10-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79, 80 & over.
OTHER: Plan to arrive at least one hour prior to your race start. 10K and 5K courses will be swept at 11:30 am
For everyone's safety and as a courtesy to fast runners, slower runners, walkers and strollers are asked to start the race towards the back of the pack.
• All health and wellness facilities will be open to members.
• All Group Exercise classes are cancelled.
• All morning programs and classes are cancelled.
Safety & Security
• Please leave your bags in your car. All unattended bags and backpacks at the JCC or on the course will be removed and disposed of by the police.
• FOR MEMBERS: Access to the building is only through the Health & Recreation entrance.
Please bring your JCC membership card or a valid ID and be prepared to show it to enter the JCC.
• Anyone using babysitting must have a DRIVERS LICENSE or JCC MEMBERSHIP CARD.
• The main entrance to the JCC will be closed until noon on Sunday, May 12.
• FOR RUNNERS: Please note that roadways will be open to limited traffic on the course.
Please follow signage and heed volunteer’s directions and stay on the side of the road designated by Tenafly Police for our race.
JCC Parking & Local Traffic
The races will originate at the JCC causing major traffic delays on East Clinton Avenue and Woodland Street from approximately 7am-noon. Some side roads in the area will also be affected. The main parking lot usually fills to capacity early in the day. Please park on the streets and obey any temporary parking restriction that may be in place. Please obey all traffic signs.
The JCC driveway will be closed at the following times for runners’ safety:
• 7:15-7:45 am • 9:45-10:15 am
