Laps for Limbs is an ability-focused, community organization that raises awareness and funds for local children and veterans with limb loss and limb differences. 

            Laps for Limbs Model: Awareness + Inclusion + Community = Opportunity

 

This free, family-friendly event is a walk/run/roll that takes place at a track. Unlike a typical road race such as a 5K or marathon, the track provides an accessible environment that keeps everyone together, regardless of pace or physical ability. Participants complete as many laps as they can, and raise funds per lap by soliciting sponsors. 

Since 2012, the WNY event has donated over $70K to local amputees, supporting adaptive recreation opportunities and improved quality of life for veterans and children. In addition, event participants have completed 2,265 miles in support of local amputees.

For the first time, the 2020 event will be on an indoor 1/10 mile track! Rain or shine, it will be a great time! 

Onsite registration will be available from 9-10am. 

Opening ceremony is at 10:00 am.

• 10:30 am

• 11:00 am

• 11:30 am

• 12:00 am

• 12:30 pm

• 1:00 pm

• 1:30 pm

Closing Lap at 2:00 pm

Each participant finds sponsors, either per lap or for a flat donation, and collects the money following the event.
