2nd Annual Fenton Free 5k Walk/Run

We are pleased to announce, after last years success, that on Saturday June 3rd, 2017 the Fenton Free Library at 1062 Chenango Street, Binghamton, NY,  will be holding our Second Annual Fenton Free 5k Walk/Run. The proceeds will be going to support our Summer Reading Program.  Last summer we were able to provide programming to 5,334 participants.  The course runs thru Hillcrest in the town of Fenton and is USTAF certified (#NY16023JG).  The course map is available on our library website at libraries.4cls.org/Fenton/ or a copy can be picked up at the library.  The event will kick off at 8:30a.m. with the Kid's Dash.  The 5K Run/Walk will start at 9:00 a.m.  Immediately following the finish of the Run/Walk we encourage families to stay for the Hillcrest Booster Day Parade!!  Refreshments will be provided for all Runners/Walkers as well as awards to the top three qualifiers in each category.  Participants can register on runsignup.com or in person at the library, registration forms can also be retrieved from our website.  Mark your calendars today as this is great event for the entire family!
