Join us for the inaugural Wenzel Memorial Sprint Triathlon to be held Sunday, Oct. 6, at Binghamton University. We encourage you to sign up in advance. You may also register starting at 6:30 a.m. the day of the event. The race will begin at 8:15 a.m.
The event is being held in memory of Gregg D. Wenzel ’91, a triathlete and former student-athlete at Binghamton who competed on the men’s varsity swimming and diving team. Wenzel was killed in a car accident July 9, 2003, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he was working as a CIA directorate of operations officer. He was 33 years old.
