Description
In honor of the decades of service that the Catholic War Veterans Post 1897 has performed for veterans, their families and the Centereach community we have established the Catholic War Veterans 5k race. This is a fun event for the whole family for a great cause. All proceeds from the event will go towards helping veterans and their families in our community.
There is a fun run for children and seniors and an USATF Sanctioned 5k for all serious runners.
This is a fast start race with some mild rolling ascents and declines. The race will start and finish on the grounds of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Centereach.
There will be post race awards and events. Its sure to be fun for the entire family!
