Incredibly stocked aid stations on the bike and run courses. Real food, STBC Beer Garden, Music, Swag, and a fabulous race in a beautiful setting.
Located in the heart of Central New York with easy access off of I-90 and I-81. Minutes from the center of Syracuse, NY; 2 hours from Albany, 2&1/2 hours from Buffalo.
Open to individuals and relay teams of 2 or 3. AquaBike option offered. Paratriathletes welcome!

300 participant maximum. This race venue, Jamesville Beach Park, was host to the former Syracuse 70.3.
Begin your morning with a gorgeous 1.2 mile swim in the calm, clear waters of the Jamesville Reservoir.
NO cut-off time!
Soft, sandy, in-water start and finish with three waves; M39&U, M40&over, All Females + Relay teams (even if the swimmer is a male).
Long rectangle shape with left-hand turns at buoys.
Wetsuit legal but not required.
56 miles will take you on an epic, hilly, beautiful ride that will give you up-hills, down-hills, and vista views for miles. With fast and flat sections in the middle, shaded woodsy neighborhoods, charming villages, lakeside views, and plenty of cows to cheer you along the way. Look for the Eagles nest on the right at mile 31.5 (ish) in Cuyler.

Two Aid stations stocked with Hammer Nutrition products and plenty of water with port-a-john available.
SAG vehicle and bike support.
Participants in the AquaBike competition will complete the event after the bike.
This will be a two-loop, challenging run course through the beautiful/country/shaded neighborhood of Jamesville wiith a negative split on the second half of each loop.
An aid station in transition and at approximately every mile stocked with Hammer Nutrition products, Coke, water, chips, Pickle Juice, candy, and gummi bears.
Port-a-johns will be available along the course.
Your spectators will be able to see you and cheer you on as you make the turn inside of the park to head out on your second loop.

This race is a USAT sanctioned event. Participants must be current (valid thru race date 2024) USAT members, or be required to renew their membership or purchase a one-day membership upon registration.
Any coupons or discount codes are not retroactive. They must be used during your registration. If you do not know if your Tri Club has a discount code, please ask your club administrator.
A portion of your registration fee will be donated to the Jamesville Food Pantry
PRE-RACE:
Packet pick up at the race site Friday from 12pm - 8pm with bike drop-off available and overnight security provided. This is recommended but not mandatory.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
5:30am - 7:30am - Transition open and packet pick-up
7:15am - 7:40am - Swim warm-up permitted
7:45am - MANDATORY Athlete Meeting
8:00am - Race start
POST-RACE:
Finisher medals
Race T-shirts (only guaranteed for those registered prior to May 1, 2024)
Beer Garden supplied by Southern Tier Brewing Company (must be 21 years of age)
Food catered TBD. Breakfast and coffee in the morning followed by an amazing menu of lunch items.
Free for participants and volunteers.
Food will be available for purchase for all spectators.
Massage therapist, $2 per minute.
Merchandise Table - Cash or Venmo or PayPal.

Relay Teams - Top 3 Overall
A relay team can be made up of two or three individuals. Relay teams are not offered for the AquaBike.
Individuals registering for a triathlon relay team will complete:
Three-person relay teams; one leg of the race per entrant
Two-person relay teams; one participant will complete two of the legs and the other will only complete one. Legs will not be split between registrants.
Relay teams only compete against other relay teams. Teams can be made up of any gender and/or age.
We award Top 3 Relay Teams.
All members of the relay team will receive the race giveaways, finisher medal, and all post-race food and beverages (STBC Beer Garden only for those 21 and older).
When registering for a relay team the first person will create and name the team. The full amount is charged to that first person. The following team members must also register to complete the USAT info and sign the waiver. Each team member will need to be a current USAT member OR purchase one day event coverage ($15 for adults, $10 for members 17 & Under)

COVID-19:
We will be following protocols established by the State of New York and will adhere to whatever the State and County require us to do as of race date 2024. We WILL ask that you practice common sense. If you are feeling sick or showing symptoms of COVID, please refrain from participating.

VOLUNTEERS: We love and appreciate all of our volunteers. If you have someone that is coming with you to the event we ask that they look over our volunteer list and choose a task and time that would work for them. When volunteers register early they will receive a race day t-shirt. They will also receive FREE food from our caterer as well as entry into the STBC Beer Garden.
