Black Diamond Express Half Marathon & 5K — To benefit the Mendon Foundation - Mendon, New York's local land trust and developer/maintainer of the Lehigh Valley Trail in partnership with the Monroe County Parks Department.
(Including virtual option, with option to complete race within one week after race day.)

- Virtual Half Marathon or 5K: Once again, we are offering a virtual half marathon or 5K! Run the distance within a week of the race date, and we will mail you a t-shirt and race bib. Plus, if you are a half marathoner, we will mail you a medal! You can download the race certificate post race and enter your time on the website.
Awards
- Half Marathon: CASH prizes ($300 each to non-virtual male and female winners; $100 each to non-virtual male and female 2nd place runners); non-cash for age groups 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
- All Half Marathon finishers will receive our handsome, custom finisher’s medal!
- 5K: Top 2 non-virtual males & females receive gift certificates; non-gift certificate prizes for age groups 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Deferrals
We generally do not permit deferrals for our races. We are a small team of volunteers, and managing deferrals is difficult. Deferrals put a lot of wrinkles in regard to the amount of wasted medals and food that we purchase, and make additional administrative work for next year's races. We prefer that registrants use RunSignUp's ability to transfer registrations to other runners, which most people are able to make work. On the rare occasions when we do grant deferrals, it is only after people run out of options, and we will give preference to runners who have been with us before.
