Lightning Warriors Youth Triathlon Team presents a unique chance for kids ages 7 to 14 to be part of a challenge that is unlike anything you have done before. This FREE 6-week Virtual Challenge includes Triathlon Olympians and Professionals guiding you through some fun trivia, swim, bike and run. This program can be done anywhere around the world or in your living room.
The Challenge takes place every Sunday at 6pm EST starting on August 2nd and will continue through September 13th.
Each week, tally and submit your physical challenges through a provided link or under a link in your profile that will include push-ups for the swim, biking and running. As you update your miles, you can see how far you have traveled on the results page. For the Swim, you will be swimming around North America. For the Bike, you will be riding through the desert towards the Great Pyramids of Giza. For the Run, you will be running around the theme parks of Orlando, Florida
In addition to the trivia and activities, every Friday at 6pm EST, we will host a question and answer with real Triathlon Professionals who will guide you in a fitness workout that will make you stronger and faster.
Running Shoes, Bike, Bike Helmet and internet access. If you do not have these things, please contact the race director.
For Sunday Trivia: You will receive a secret link to give you access to Kahoot. Kahoot is our software that we will use to track your answers to 10 questions. The faster you answer, the more points you will earn. The top three point earners will receive prizes!
For Friday Pro Nights: You will also receive a Zoom link with password to connect with the professionals. Here you can ask questions about triathlon or anything you would like to know about the Olympics, Ironman or other questions about swim, bike or run! Following the Q&A will be a 20 minute workout led by one of the Pros.
Bonus material will be on Tuesdays, you will receive a link for some cool videos that share a few triathlon tips to help you rack up the miles for your swim, bike and run.
