Rock & Run Against Lyme Disease 5k

It's National I Love My Park Day! Let's show Murrow Park some love!

What's a Flexible 5k?! Well, the distance is up to you!

Join us as we log the amount of times you can run around Murrow Pond and make this a fun, challenging experience for the whole family! This race is perfect for all ages since we have a line of sight on all runners with this loop option in a safe and contained park setting.

Participants will begin running around the pond at 10am and our clock will stop at 11am giving everyone a full hour to see what they're made of! Participants may run the whole time, take breaks, end early, or go at whatever pace they feel comfortable.

The participant with the most amount of completed loops will earn the Murrow MVP Award. The Murrow MVP Award grants you ultimate bragging rights and your name will be engraved on the  Award trophy that will be showcased in the Rec Office all year long.

We are excited to partner with Pawling Library's "Project Do Something" youth initiative.  This year, a portion of race proceeds will go towards cancer research.

After the race bring a picnic lunch, join a volunteer station in the park, and stay and play with us. There are many ways to show Murrow Park a lot of love!
