15K and 10K Runs to the Port Jeff Brewery tentatively postponed until Sunday, September 20th
We regret to announce that, as a result of the current Coronavirus situation, we have no choice but to POSTPONE the 15K and 10K Runs to the Port Jeff Brewing Company that had been scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 17th.
The Runs have tentatively been rescheduled for Sunday, September 20th .
Needless to say, we don’t know what restrictions may still be in place nearly five months from now, and it is entirely possible that later on we may be required to further postpone or cancel the event. That being said, our plans right now call for the event to be held on September 20th. We will not be accepting any new registrations until we can be more certain than we are now if Coronavirus restrictions will be such as to allow the event to take place on that date.
Notwithstanding the delay, we are looking forward to ultimately hosting a great day of running in beautiful Port Jeff.
Once we are able to make a final determination on the staging of the event, we will provide those already registered with various options which will include to be transferred to the new date, participate in a virtual option, or to request a refund (less the processing fee).
Join us for a morning of fun and fitness on a challenging course from the Port Jeff Brewing Company through the scenic village of Port Jefferson - you will earn your post-race refreshments! This will be "The Race You Will Love to Hate!"

We've added a somewhat less challenging 10K course! The two courses split after the 4 mile mark.
NOTE: you can not change races after the race starts or you will not be scored.
There will be two training runs for this race. They will Start/Finish from the Port Jeff Brewing Company. Both training runs begin at 6:30 pm on Thursday, April 16 and Thursday, May 7. It is approximately a 4.5 mile course, which includes the first (hilly) mile of the Port Jeff 15K course. One free beer for each participant from the brewery!

A USATF sanctioned event over a USATF certified covering a challenging route in the Village of Port Jefferson. Traffic control provided by the Port Jefferson Village constabulary and the Suffolk County Police Department.
A 10K has been added this year!

Top 3 Male Overall, Top 3 Female Overall, Top 3 Male Masters and Top 3 Female Masters receive unique superbly decorated awards. Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female in each of the following age groups: 21‑24, 25‑29, 30‑34, 35‑39, 40‑44, 45‑49, 50‑54, 55‑59, 60‑64, 65‑69, 70‑74, 75‑79, 80 and over will receive pint glass awards.
Online registration closes on Thursday, May 14th at 5:00 PM. You can register online at Packet Pickup Friday and Saturday for the same pre-registration price. Packet pick up is Friday May 15th, 12 to 5:00 PM at the Smithtown Running Company, and Saturday, May 16th, 12 to 5:00 PM at the Port Jeff Brewing Company. On Sunday morning, registration is open from 6:45 AM to 8:15 AM. If there are still spots available, the cost is $65 for everyone. ABSOLUTELY NO PICKUP AFTER 8:15 AM
Guest passes are available as an Add On during the registration process for $30. Guests will be admitted to the after party which will include refreshments and beer. You will be able to purchase Guest Passes at packet pick up Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16, as well as on race day Sunday, May 17. Prerace for $30, packet pick up and on race day $35
