ROSIE STRONG 2022 FUN RUN

We are so excited to be hosting our inaugural ROSIE STRONG FUN RUN in honor of Rosie's 5th Birthday!  There will be a 5k Run/Walk (strollers welcome!) and then also a 1/2 Mile Kids Run (for ages 8 and under).

The run will start & finish at Rosie's school and our hometown parish, St. Peter of Alcantara! There will be food, music, bounce houses, a playground & carnival games for fun for all!

The Rose Elizabeth Foundation is a non-profit organization that was lovingly created in honor of our daughter who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 2 years and 3 months on December 20th, 2019.​ Our foundation was created to spread Rosie's love, light, and joy out in the world.

After a thorough autopsy and further research performed by 2 medical teams (at Boston Children's & NYU), Rosie's death was classified as SUDC (Sudden Unknown Death in Children), a diagnosis of exclusion - when the cause of death remains unknown in a child over the age of 1. SUDC strikes 1 in 100,000 children.  The funds from this event will support The SUDC Foundation, the only organization worldwide whose purpose is to promote awareness, advocate for research, and support those affected by SUDC.  Your generous donations will help to sponsor events and families at the SUDC family retreat - an event run annually to support grieving families like ours. The retreat features unique experiences for connection designed to protect and support the physical, mental, and emotional health of SUDC families.
