The Waterloo Library & Historical Society presents the 2023 Cookie Fun Run/Walk (The Year of the Pancake)!
If you give a human a cookie, they will probably eat it. When they eat it, they will probably feel guilty. But if they do this fun-run they can have their cookies and eat it too!
This family friendly race, originally inspired by Laura Numeroff's "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie", will tickle your taste buds AND benefit the Waterloo Library & Historical Society. This year we will be eating PANCAKES! There will be 4 Pancakes in total so bring your appetite and running shoes to race 1 mile around Lafayette Park. You can also walk the mile and enjoy reading along with this year's book "If You Give a Pig a Pancake"
Participants will receive a Pancake themed metal and registrations under 5 will receive their own copy of this years book.
Entry fees: One-mile walk/run:
Adults: $20
18 and under: $10
Children under 5: Free
*In the event of a cancellation, there will be no refunds; your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Waterloo Library & Historical Society.
