Race Setup: 10min swim in the ONAT, 20min bike in Studio B, 15min run on the indoor track all in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center at the University of Akron (there will be a 10 min transition from swim to bike, and 5 min transition from bike to run).
Freebies: A Race T-Shirt with registration (T-Shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed to individuals who register after 03/03/18, but it is likely we will still have all sizes available). Handmade Medals for Top Three Collegiate and Top Three Public Finishers. Access to our race expo, featuring some of our teams sponsors, and a licensed medical professional who will do pre and post race stretching/recovery. Post-race food.
Important Information: This is open to the public, you do not need to be a college student. The results will be based on how far you can go in the time given for each event, then weighted to give equal significance to all three events. Tentative waves will be sent out 6 days before the event, any changes made from there will be within the same hour requested in order to fit everyone in the waves. Enter through the ONAT doors where check-in, T-shirts and further directions for the race. We recommend you get here 30min before you start time to have plenty of time to check-in, see where the bike and run will be and start warm-up 10min before your start time for the swim.
Notice to minors: Minors must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian to sign a minor participation wavier. This wavier can also be emailed to participants to fill out at home. Please reach out to us with questions.
