Veterans Appreciation 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run

Saturday, July 27, 2019 @ 8:00 am  

Race day registration and packet pickup from 7:00 -7:40

Race Location: Mapleton High School, 635 Co. Rd. 801 Ashland OH 44805

Course Description: The 5K course is both road and off-road (road/field/woods) with minimal elevation change

and a beautiful setting. The 10K  course is a rolling, countryside road loop (with some possible loose gravel). Walkers are permitted in the 5K only.  No walkers in the 10K.

Awards (per race): Top three overall males and females. Top three overall Athena (female 160+ lbs) and Clydesdale (male 215+ lbs).

Top 2 in each age group; 10 & under / 11-14 / 15-19 / 20-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60 & over

Proceeds: Benefit various Ashland County Veterans Services

Entry Cost: $20 by June 3rd. $25 June 4th through July 25th. $30 on race day. ***Military members past and present will only be charged $15. Military members will pay the normal asking price during on-line registration. On race day the military member only needs to show some type of military identification to receive the difference back. Shirts are guaranteed with registration until July 12th. Extra shirts will be purchased for race day registrants. First come first serve basis. Shirt not guaranteed in your size on race day.
