Description

The 32nd Cleveland Triathlon was established in 1987 and is the most decorated triathlon in the history of the sport.  As a 7-time United States Championship and the ITU Triathlon World Championship, it is a premier event and perhaps the best urban course in existence.  

The swim is in the beautiful and calm North Coast Inner Harbor inside the breakwall of Lake Erie.  The bike course is on the entirely traffic-closed Memorial Shoreway, and the run is in and around the North Coast Harbor, Great Lakes Science Center, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame campus.   The finish is at the lush Voinovich Park near the adjacent Cleveland script logo monument.

The entire event takes place in the heart of the vibrant downtown of Cleveland in the middle of summer and has a distance and challenge for every level of athlete.
