EDWINS Run for Re-Entry - 5K Grind & 1 Mile FunRun/Walk

Proceeds to benefit EDWINS
Every day men and women at EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute grind it out to get a second chance after incarceration.  Compete in our 8th annual EDWINS Run for Re-Entry, to show returning citizens that YOU support their right to fair and equal futures.

Choose your Adventure:

1 Mile FunRun or Walk* - Tour the neighborhood around EDWINS with this beginner road course. This race plays it safe sticking to neighborhood sidewalks. Stroller and family-friendly.

5K GRIND Road and Trail Run - Are you tough enough to push through the pain and pressure? This race starts and ends at Shaker Square, with a course unlike any other.  Off-road. Through the water. Uphill. Unbalanced. A battle between you and the terrain. Participants will experience a small amount of road running but most of the course is a trail run that includes water crossings and steep skinny trails through Doan Creek.

*Both courses utilize public sidewalks and paths open to the public.  There are also driveways and cars so please be aware of your surroundings.  Know the course before you arrive*

Dogs are not allowed for the 5K due to how narrow the trail gets, but are allowed to join the 1 mile walk.

TIME SLOTS & RESULTS
RUN TIME SLOTS:
All participants will line up and start according to their corral that they have chosen. Runners should line up in the front with Fun Run participants lined up in the back of the group.

RESULTS:
Final results will be posted at Noon on October 22

AWARDS:
Awarded to the top 3 men and top 3 women

Packet Pick Up begins at 9am until your time slot
