Description
ONELIFE at The Ohio State University is holding a 5K walk/run fundraising event! All proceeds will benefit the nonprofit organization charity: water. The proceeds will be used to fund building a well in Rwanda to provide clean water and access to sanitation for the citizens of this country.
In the spirit of providing clean water, the 5K will consist of a “water walk.” Participants will have the option of carrying either empty or full 1 gallon plastic water jugs on the route. This serves to mimic the journey for clean water that people in underdeveloped countries must make every day. 40 billion hours every year are spent by people in Africa walking for water, as the nearest source may be miles away.
Your participation in this event is vital in providing clean water and sanitation to those in need. Thank you!
**Event is 1pm-4pm. Race will start at 1:30pm.

We will also take registration on race day. Please see attached paper registration form. The paper form may ONLY be used if you are registering on race day.
Giveaways
Event t-shirts will provided to each participant at no additional cost! In addition, we will hold a raffle for prizes that all participants can enter.
