We are looking The Dash For Camp is a 5K Run/Walk event taking place this year on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Merchant Park in Hilliard, Ohio! Our race for the past few years has taken place at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park, and while we are sadly no longer able to use that park for the race, we are excited that we get to stay in Hilliard! As in years past, proceeds from the race go to Camp Hamwi, which serves children and teens with diabetes, as well as diabetes education programs offered by Central Ohio Diabetes Association, an Agency of LifeCare Alliance.
The Dash For Camp is a chance for Central Ohio Diabetes Association and Camp Hamwi's biggest supporters to make an impact each year. Runners are encouraged to form teams and help raise funds to support Camp Hamwi. Prizes will be given out to our top fundraisers!
Sign up for The Dash for Camp and run or walk for a good cause! Not only will prizes be given out, but we will also have camp games available to play before and after the race.
Central Ohio Diabetes Association is one of the last two remaining diabetes support programs in the state of Ohio, so each dollar raised helps keep these incredible services available to the Central Ohio community.

Included with your race registration this year will be an event t-shirt, medal, and swag bag.
Packet Pickup
Save time in line on race morning by picking up your packet at early packet pickup! Early packet pickup will take place at Columbus Running Company's Dublin location (6465 Perimeter Dr, Dublin, OH 43016) on Thursday, November 9 (10 am to 8 pm) and Friday, November 10 (10 am to 6 pm). There will also be race day packet pickup on race morning (Saturday) at the race site (Merchant Park) starting at 8:00 am. If you are a Let Me Run boys team participant or coach, please DO NOT stop by early packet pickup.

Please DO NOT stop by early packet pickup. Your coach will have all of your race materials at the race site on race morning. Please find your coach on race morning to collect your packet and race number.
Parking
Anyone attending the race is encouraged to park in the large parking lot in front of the Makoy Center 5462 Center St, Hilliard, OH 43026. The starting line for the race is at Merchant Park, which is directly across the parking lot from the Makoy Center building.
Race Day Timeline
8:00 am - Race Day Packet Pickup Begins at Merchant Park (directly across the parking lot from the Makoy Center building). *Please note that there is NO race day registration
9:30 am - 5K begins
10:15 - 10:30 am - Awards announced at Merchant Park
Join us at Beer Barrel after the race!
Be sure to join us after the race at Beer Barrel in Hilliard! From 11 am to 1 pm on the day of the race, Beer Barrel has graciously offered to host a dine & donate at their Hilliard location (2500 Roberts Ct, Hilliard, OH 43026), where 10% of the proceeds will go back to The Dash for Camp. Just stop by within that time frame and mention that you are with The Dash to help support us. We are welcoming all participants, friends, and family to join us at the after party!
Awards
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female finisher in each of the following categories:
19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up
