Santa Pancake 5K

RACE DAY ANNOUNCEMENT: 

Because of the rain we allow you to switch your event from the 5K to the VIRTUAL 5K.  Just go to your registration email and click the link to your Registration and switch your event.  There is NO CHARGE for you to do so.   You can then come and pick up your cool neck gaiter and medal and enjoy pancakes inside where it's dry.

You can also purchase a Christmas gift package of a neck gaiter and medal for your friends. Just register them for the Virtual 5K and use your email so you get the confirmation. When you come out to pick up your stuff you can pick up the neck gaiter and medal for them.  It's a special Christmas price of $20!

If you do run the actual race we have awesome awards for the top three men and women- LEG LAMPS!!

This 5K Fun Run/Walk will be held on the beautiful 19 Hawthorne grounds.  Dress up like Santa or any of his Christmas friends, and after the race you'll meet the real Santa and enjoy a great holiday breakfast with sausage and catch flying pancakes.

Chris Cakes is a professional pancake flipping company that amazes people of all ages by serving your pancakes midair! That’s right, YOU catch your pancakes! Chris Cakes has also been featured on the Food Network Channel and is in the Guinness Book of World Records! You won’t want to miss out on the fun!

Worried about the Cold? We’ve got you covered! Our 14,000 sq. ft. event center will keep you warm before and after the race!

Dress up like Jolly old Santa, Mrs Clause or your favorite holiday outfit for the 5K.
All participants will receive a one of a kind SANTA NECK GAITER to keep your face and neck warm in style this holiday season!
Premium MEDALS! Santa’s Elves will greet you at the finish line with your medals!

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA! Enjoy pancakes OUR WAY with Chris Cakes and FANCY PANCAKE FLIPPING! Catch your pancakes and enjoy sausage and beverages! (included with the 5K)
Meet the BIG Man himself, SANTA CLAUSE is coming all the way from the North Pole to greet the kids and take their “Lists” back to Santa’s workshop! Kids get a special surprise photo frame from Santa to remember the morning.
Kids can write “Letters to Santa” as we will have a magical mailbox just for him!
Coal to anyone that is a bah humbug. 😊

Race Logistics:

This is a closed course with no traffic for runner safety, with the event taking place on the grounds of 19 Hawthorne.
The 5K has a timing clock that will be started at the start of the race so that Runners are able to self-time.  
This is a first-year event. Prizes awarded to the top 3 Male/Female Runners only.

Special Kids fee of $25 for those under 12.  This will be reflected during the checkout process. 

Race proceeds will benefit two worthy local organizations, the  Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities & Our Daily Bread Community Center Hat & Mitten Fund
