Come out and attend this amazing Father’s Day weekend 5K event! Fun for the whole family!
Mars Hill Academy’s 1st Annual Highlander Hustle 5K run/walk will start and finish at the beautiful Corwin Nixon Park (6249 Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040). This is an official, measured 5K course that will be timed with built-in chip bibs. There will be an aid station at the 1.5 mile mark. The course is flat, minimal elevation on concrete bike path. This is the perfect course to set your PB!
An award ceremony/celebration will commence immediately following the 5K race/run. Lots of fun for the kiddos - hula hoops, bubbles, face painting, and much more!
Non-dedicated EMS will be onsite from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Plenty of parking will be available at Corwin-Nixon Park on event day.
All participants registered by Monday, June 11 are guaranteed an official tartan race drawstring bag!

Mars Hill Academy is an independent, non-profit, classical and Christian school that has been serving families of the greater Cincinnati area since 1996. When does the event take place?
This year’s 5K Kilt Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, June 16. Kids Fun Run starts at 8:00 am, Kids 100 Yard Dash starts at 8:20 am, and Individual 5K Walk/Run starts at 9:00 am.
What is a kilt run?
A kilt run is exactly what you think it is – a race where participants are able to wear kilts!
Do I have to wear a kilt to participant?
Absolutely not. Kilts are highly encouraged, and a prize will be awarded for best dressed in kilt! Wearing a kilt is completely optional.

Can I register the day of the event?
Absolutely! Walk-in’s are welcome! Registration and packet pick up will begin at 7:30 am and will close at 8:30 am.
What method of payment options are accepted?
Credit card only for online registration. If you register the day of the event, only check (made payable to Mars Hill Academy) or cash will be accepted. Payment on race day will be cash and checks only!
