Viking Victory Run

The Viking Victory Run is a 5K Run, 5K Competitive Walk, 1 mile Fun Run and 1 lap Little Vikes Run (6 years and under) that benefits the North Canton City Schools PTO organizations serving preschool through grade 8.  Our goal is to promote fitness in our students, their families and the community.  Proceeds from the race will be given to the PTO groups to help fund playground equipment, enrichment programs, educational assistance, building enhancements and much more!  To date, we have raised close to $100,000 and hope to continue our success in support of our students.

The 5K Run is part of the Ohio Challenge Series and is a point scoring event.  Awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers (male and female) and to the top male and female in each age category for the 5K Run and to the top 3 overall finishers (male and female) for the 5K Competitive Walk.  Both races wind through the neighborhood surrounding the stadium and will have an awesome finish line on the stadium track.  Because we are using the track, NO STROLLERS OR PETS ALLOWED in any of the races. 

ONLINE and PAPER REGISTRATIONS WILL BEGIN ON FEBRUARY 1, 2017. 

RACE DAY REGISTRATION will open at 12pm on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the registration table outside the stadium (west side).  You can register for the 1 Mile Fun Run and the 1 lap Little Vikes Run until 1:30pm.  Registration for the 5K Run and 5K Competitive Walk will close at 2pm on race day.

The 5K Run, 5K Competitive Walk and the 1 Mile Fun Run will start on 7th Street near the driveway entrance to the stadium and will end on the stadium track.  The 1 lap Little Vikes Run will begin and end on the stadium track.
