12th Annual Samuel F Pearson Memorial Day Event

Saturday, May 25th, 2024

Event is raising money in honor of Sam Pearson for the Piqua Education Foundation (PEF) for scholarships in his name.
Sam was a soldier in the Army serving our country and paid the ultimate sacrifice fighting for our freedoms. Born and
raised in Piqua, graduating from Piqua High, money raised stays here in Piqua and supports PHS seniors with scholarship
funds towards furthering their education. The number of scholarships has increased year over year as result of the funds raised since this event started.

5k Run/Walk begins at 8:00am

Registration: $25.00

                     $20 for Groups with 5 or more participants 

(Registration includes event shirt if received by 5/10/2024) 

Money Raised goes to benefit the Samuel F Pearson Scholarship Fund

Packet Pick Up and final race registration available at Can’t Stop Running Co: Thursday 5/23/2024 10AM-7PM and Friday 5/24/2024 10AM-6PM.

5k Course: Race will start and finish on the bike path behind the former Piqua Power Plant, 123 Bridge St, Piqua, along the Miami River.
