Description
The Star Spangled Squirt Gun Run/Walk 5K is on Monday, July 4, 2016. Our unique race features squirt gun-wielding volunteers along the route, letting participants beat the heat as we celebrate our nation's birth!
Proceeds from the event benefit the Kenneth Jensen Memorial Scholarship at Terra State Community College, awarded to Port Clinton students studying skilled trades or digital media.
Registration begins at 8:00AM at the Jefferson Street Pavilion, and the race starts promptly at 9:00AM. Our scenic course takes participants along Lake Erie and through historic downtown Port Clinton. After the race, head back to the Jefferson Street Pavilion for refreshments and awards.
Entry fees are $20 per racer for those who pre-register by June 27th, and $25 thereafter. Fees for children 9 and under are $10. Register by June 27th to guarantee your shirt size.
