Whether you are running your first 5K or chasing a PR, we've got you covered!! We are also offering an 8K program for this quickly growing race distance. We want you to blow away your previous personal record (PR) in a fun, motivating atmosphere! No matter your pace, our 8-week program will give you a detailed, daily plan with two group training opportunities thrown in each week for camaraderie and motivation! Our company motto of Get Faster, Go Farther, Feel Better is what drives our training groups! As part of our program, we will also bring in area medical/sports professionals to educate you on preventative maintenance for your body and nutritional info to keep you active and happy!
So you are new to running, looking to transition from walking or just complete your first 5k race? We will get you from the couch to the finish line with a detailed, 8 week plan that will gradually build you from walking to running, no worries, we've got you covered!
You've got some experience with the 5k, but have dreams of running faster just not sure how to approach it. Let us take the base you have built and use that to your advantage! We will make you faster by pushing you with a detailed training program in a motivating, fun atmosphere!!!
3.1 miles of racing, no problem right? What if your dream is the "Gold Standard," a sub 20 min 5k? Our experienced staff will craft a plan to not only push you to your fastest PR (Personal Record) but encourage you and have a lot of fun getting there in the process!
That's right! Alongside the always popular 5K program, there is an eight week 8K training plan to get you to the starting line ready to crush a PR. This program trains along the same lines as the 5K program with some tweaks to get you through that final 3K.
There are two official weekly meeting days for the program: MONDAY at a local metropark and THURSDAY at the Perrysburg High School track. Both meeting times will be at 6:30pm.
