Acacia of Hope's mission is to empower the people of east Africa spiritually, educationally, and economically. In a nutshell, we are a group of world changers desiring to help those who deserve and need it the most in Kenya, Africa. Kenya needs us now more than ever! From a dry season bringing little harvest to a locust infestation that has ruined so much food, the people of Kenya need our help. The COV-19 is the icing on top of the cake, forcing people to stay instead with little to no food.

Poverty never stops and these people need us! Let us come together virtually to make a global impact in the comfort of our homes. In practicing social distance, complete your 3.1 mile anywhere and at anytime between April 25 and May 2. You can run or walk outside, hit the treadmill, or walk in place in front of your TV. Either way, use this 5K as a way of a stress reliever for you while also making a huge difference.

Submit your time via email or text ( or 419-516-4858), and you will be in the running for our cash prizes, raffle prices (walkers too!), and medals!

Sign up before April 10th to get a free dri-fit shirt that we will personally deliver to your front porch if you live in the Wapak area (or snail mail if you live out of Wapak).

Join our Facebook Event page for even more infromation including a special badge to post when you have completed your 5K! (Link:
