Acacia of Hope's mission is to empower the people of east Africa spiritually, educationally, and economically. In a nutshell, we are a group of world changers desiring to help those who deserve and need it the most in Kenya, Africa. On a daily basis, men, women, and especially children go hungry, do not have access to clean water, and lack necessities to just survive. Kenya needs you.
Poverty never stops and these people need you! Let us come together virtually to make a global impact in the comfort of our homes. In practicing social distance, complete your 3.1 mile anywhere and at any time between April 24 and May 1. You can run or walk outside, hit the treadmill, or walk-in place in front of your TV. Either way, use this 5K as a way to accomplish your health goal while also making a huge difference.
Submit your time, along with a selfie, via email or text (firstname.lastname@example.org or 419-516-4858), and you will be in the running for our cash prizes, raffle prices, and medals! This also includes walkers!
Sign up before April 8th to receive a free dri-fit race shirt that we will personally deliver to your front porch if you live in the Wapakoneta area. If you do not live in the area, we will mail you your race shirt and your prize (if you win!).
Join our Facebook Event page for even more information including a special badge to post when you have completed your 5K and see others post their race day selfies! (Link: https://fb.me/e/37MpMS5KE)
