Description
Join us for a good time benefiting Nationwide Children's Hospital's Sports and Orthopedic Therapies! This race takes place the morning of Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the Westerville Parks and Rec Sports Complex. We will start with a half-mile fun run for young kids (recommend 13 and younger) and their parents if they choose to run with them. We will complete the morning with a 5k run/walk for older kids, teens, and adults.

Race participants will receive a finisher medal and race shirt (while supplies last)! See below for pictures of both our medal and shirt for this year!
Early Packet Pickup
Get your race gear early and visit the running and walking experts at Columbus Running Company in their Westerville location (50 N State 43081) on Friday, August 25 (10a-8p) or Saturday, August 26 (10a-6p) to get your race shirt, finisher medal, bag, and bib number. While you're in, check out the wall of socks that can help keep your feet cool and dry during those warm summer runs!
Parking
There is ample parking at the Westerville Parks Sports Complex (325 N Cleveland Ave Westerville, OH 43082).
Race Day Timeline
- 8:00 AM - Race day packet pickup begins at the Westerville Parks Sports Complex
- 9:00 AM - The Kids Fun Run begins at the Westerville Parks Sports Complex!
- 9:30 AM - The 5K Run/Walk is underway!
Safety
For the safety of all participants, spectators, volunteers, and staff: please leave your furry friends at home. Bicycles, inline skates, skateboards, scooters, and hoverboards are all prohibited at the event. Strollers are permitted. However, if you are bringing a stroller, we kindly ask that you line up at the back of the pack at the start of the race and also make every effort to be safe with those around you. Thank you for your help in making this a safe event!
