Description
The 4th Annual Run Fur Fun 5K is a run/walk supporting Forgotten 4-Paws, a local organization dedicated to promoting animal welfare. Your participation in the event supports Forgotten 4-Paws' rescue efforts as well as low-cost spay/neuter programs. Join us at the Westerville Sports Complex (map below) for a great morning!
Leashed, well-behaved pets will be allowed on the course!
Additional Race Information
Early packet pickup
Early packet pickup will be at Columbus Running Company's Westerville location on Friday, September 29th (10a-8p) and Saturday, September 30th (10a-6p) during normal business hours.
Race day packet pickup will be at the Westerville Sports Complex beginning at 7:30am. Race day registration will be $35, and will be cash, check or credit card (checks payable to Forgotten 4-Paws).
Awards
Awards will be given in the 5K to the top 3 overall male and female finishers, and the top male and female finisher in each of the following age categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Race shirts
Race shirts are guaranteed available to all participants pre-registered prior to September 15, 2017 (costs will apply for youth race registrants wanting a t-shirt). Register early to guarantee your race keepsake! There will be a few extra shirts ordered: those registering after September 15, 2017 will be able to pick up shirts on race day on a first-come-first-served basis.
We've got the back covered
Whether you've completed hundreds of races or this will be your first, we can guarantee you that you're not going to be the last finisher at the Run Fur Fun 5K. We'll have a volunteer who will be bringing up the rear of the race to keep you motivated and be sure everyone is safe.
