HILLS: As you walk/run this course you will work hard to race up and down “hospital hill.” The young women at Grace Cottage are climbing an uphill battle as well; working hard at school, learning parenting skills, lifeskills, etc. Each will encounter bumps and struggles, but enduring hard times leads to victory.
HEALING: After this walk/run your body will need a time of rest and healing. Our girls also need a time of healing. Some have to overcome struggles of their past, poor decisions or bad circumstances. Healing takes time.
HOPE: Hope that your next 5K walk/run will be easier on your body since you have made through this course. It is our mission to give the young women at Grace Cottage hope for a future through nurturing them and their babies.
Commit to run the race with us and to provide a nurturing home for these young women and their children. Grace Cottage has served over 100 young women and their children, several hundred more have been served by offering services. Grace Place will offer a continuum of care for these young families.
