RUN FOR MOORE - Parker Archie Moore 3.5-mile Memorial Run / Walk

Parker Moore was a 20-year old sophomore at Linfield College, studying Business Management, when he was tragically killed on November 15th, 2014.  Parker was also a member of the prestigious Linfield College Football Team, where he played Linebacker and wore jersey number 35.  To honor Parker's life and legacy, the McMinnville Police Department, the McMinnville Fire Department, and Linfield College have come together to present the 3rd Annual - Parker Archie Moore 3.5-mile Memorial Run / Walk.  Proceeds from the event will go to the Parker Archie Moore Memorial Scholarship Fund, which was set up by his family to provide scholarship support to Linfield students who exemplify Parker's outstanding character and qualities.

The Parker Archie Moore 3.5-mile Memorial Run / Walk will take place on Sunday, October 1st, 2017 on the Linfield College campus in McMinnville, Oregon.  The 3.5-mile distance was specifically chosen to honor Parker and his passion for Linfield College Football.  The course is scheduled to start on Lever Street in front of the football stadium and finish on the track that surrounds Maxwell Field, the home football field for the Linfield College Wildcats.  The entire 3.5-mile course is contained within the campus and it will include about a 1.5-mile portion along a bark chip running path.  There will be a water / Gatorade station located at about the 2-mile mark.  Unfortunately, due to the bark chip running path, the course is not really conducive to jogging strollers and the like.

With regards to your race registration - Sorry, it is non-refundable and non-transferable.

IMPORTANT - With regards to your finisher t-shirt - We have to place an order with the t-shirt vendor very early this year and thus we have to estimate the quantities of each shirt size we will need.  Our goal is to provide each race registrant with their desired shirt size if we can and our plan is to do so based on date of registration.  We encourage you to register as early as possible to help ensure that you receive your desired shirt size.  Thank you for your understanding.

With regards to parking on the day of the event - There should be ample parking at the south end of campus.  The easiest access is off of Booth Bend RD.
