Welcome 2024 with a splash! The Newport Resolution Run & Polar Bear Plunge features three races: Half Marathon, 10k & 5k. 

The 5k & 10k are both flat and fast - perfect to start the new year with a PR. The half marathon on the other hand offers a challenging but fun course. It starts and ends flat but the middle 10k are challenging single track trails. The half marathon has a cutoff time of 2:45. This means the volunteers will be release after this time so the support will be minimal - aid station will be left unattended but race staff will be cheering you when you cross the finish line no matter how long it takes you!

The Newport Resolution Run & Polar Bear Plunge is about challenging your limits and embracing the chilly thrills. Let's start 2024 with an adrenaline rush - from the heart-pounding run to the invigoration plunge into the chilly Pacific Ocean.

The finish line is at the Pacific Ocean shoreline. When you cross the finish line you have the option to stay dry or take the plunge in the Pacific Ocean! The plunge is optional.

REFUND & TRANSFERS
There're no refunds. No exceptions. Participants who cancelled 30 days prior the race will receive 50% credit. This credit can be used towards any of our future races. No credit for cancellation within 30 days of the race. 

Transfers. 
Transfers are allow up to our transfer deadline. There's a $10.00 transfer fee. Transfer deadline is December 25, 2023.
