Oregon Coast Aquarium 5K and Kids' Dash

Come for a race, stay for an Aquarium adventure! We are excited to announce that the 5th Annual Oregon Coast Aquarium 5K & Kids’ Dash #UOTTER5K will take place on Saturday, April 21. Every race participant receives free same day entry to the Oregon Coast Aquarium to celebrate their accomplishment!

The 5K (3.1 mile) route will take racers on a scenic route along the Yaquina Bay estuary with facts about native wildlife presented along the way. This race is open to runners and walkers of all levels, 10 years and older. Strollers are allowed, but racers should be aware that the course has uneven ground.

Early registration is $30 for the 5K and $15 for the Kids’ Dash. After March 31, regular registration is $35 and $20, respectively. Registration includes a post-race festival, free entry to the Aquarium ($22.95 value), and a race bib. Race T-shirts are also available for purchase for an additional $5. All proceeds benefit the animal care and marine science education programs at the Aquarium.

The 5K begins at 8:00 AM, and the Kids’ Dash starts at approximately 8:45 AM. Winners will be announced at 9:15 AM. Runners can register at https://ocaq.news/2sGcLra.
