Taste of Parkrose 5k

The Taste of Parkrose 5K is the first of many exciting events held during the Taste of Parkrose street fair

The Taste of Parkrose 5K will take runners from the Taste of Parkrose fair at Rossi Farms through Luuwit View Park and Argay Neighborhood and then back to the Taste of Parkrose for a day of fun! Proceeds from the Taste of Parkrose 5K will benefit the Parkrose High School Cross Country Team and Historic Parkrose. Runners and Walkers welcome - Please note that dogs will not be allowed at the run.

Finishers receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win beer growler donated by Gateway Brewing and other raffle prizes! T-Shirts will available for purchase! Bibs and chip time provided by Athletic Timing. There will be a camera at the finish which will capture each entrants bib number as they cross. 
* Note that we will not have medals but instead seed packs each attached with ribbon.

After the run, enjoy the many festivities of the Taste of Parkrose fair, including:
Food Pavilion Big Tent – Delicious food samples and treats from Parkrose vendors
Community Tent – Resources, clubs, and information from Parkrose community nonprofits
Kids Entertainment Area – Carnival games, prizes, and craft-making activities for kids of all ages
Live Music – Singers, Dance and Visual performers on stage

Historic Parkrose started the Taste of Parkrose 5K in 2015 to raise money for Parkrose High School student activities and empower Parkrose High School students. Our goal for the Taste of Parkrose 5K is to bring healthy, family-friendly activities to the neighborhood and support Parkrose youth.

Event Logistics
Early Bird Pricing through May 21.
Pre-Registration closes Thursday, June 20. On-site registration will be available. 
Run starts at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 22. 
Kids 100-yard dash 9:00 am (free, no registration required)

5K Fun Run: 9:15 am 
Runners will sign in prior to the event next to the Start/Finish line starting at 8:30 am. We ask that runners please be in line to sign in by 8:50 am.
