FBLA Fall 5k

Support a Good Cause!

Join us for the 1st annual FBLA Fall 5k! Every year, Pennsylvania Future Business Leaders of America (PA FBLA) raises money for a charity of their choosing. As a chapter of PA FBLA, Wissahickon High School FBLA raises money for the cause as well. This year’s charity is the American Heart Association, and what better way to raise money then a 5k race! On November 9th, 2019, WHS FBLA will be hosting a 5k. Starting at Trojan Stadium, the FBLAFall5k lets runners test their skills in a family-friendly event while donating to a great cause. Included with the race, runners and their families will have the chance to win raffle baskets as well!

The FBLA Fall races will begin with the 1 Mile Fun Run at 9:00, followed by the 5k at 9:30. The 1 Mile Walk/Run will take place around the stadium track. The course for the 5k is shown below. Awards and the raffle drawing will take place at 11:15.

The Course:

The course starts on the Wissahickon High School track and then makes it way through the surrounding neighborhood. With only some slight inclines through the neighborhood, the route continues onto the Lower Gwynedd Trail which is mostly gravel and some pavement. After leaving the path, the participants will travel up the sidewalk on Dager Road and then head back to the high school track for the finish.

5K Run - 9:30 am
