Welcome to Newtown Grant Halloween Virtual Walk/Run/Cycle! In the interest of everyone’s safety and enjoyment, our 5K walk/run/cycle & 1 Mile Fun walk/run/cycle can be done anywhere – in your neighborhood or local park, on a treadmill, where ever you want. You can complete your 5K or 1 mile walk/run/cycle anytime between Saturday, October 17 and Saturday, October 31 (Halloween night).
Make the event your own: Recruit friends or family and form a team. Run or walk with your dog. Wear a costume and share your photos with us. Please take care while you run or walk, being mindful of social distancing or other local requirements.
All participants will receive:
Items will be shipped to the address used to register; continental USA only.
$30 per runner/walker registration (includes medal and face mask)
All results will be user/self-submitted be each runner and automatically updated periodically throughout each day of the event. You can submit in one of the following ways:
No confirmation will be sent, verify entry under your profile.
Event promoters have the right to alter or cancel events for any reason.
Absolutely no refunds, transfers, exchanges or credits.

1) Who can enter the race?
The short answer...EVERYONE. This is a perfect event to do with your family, friends, co-workers, classmates, or by yourself. You can live anywhere in the USA to participate.
2) How do I sign up?
Just visit the sign-up tab above and enter in all necessary information for each registrant Your mask and medal will be sent directly to you.
3) If I register my family, do we all have to do the same event? In other words, is it ok if some do the 5K, while others do the 1-mile?
You can all do different events! Mix it up any way you like.
4) Are any awards being given for fastest times?
This is a virtual run and is just for fun (i.e., not a sanctioned race), but you’re more than welcome to enter your final time by visiting here. You can also download a printable certificate when you’re finished! You do not need to enter your time as proof, but it’s always fun to see how you did. It’s completely optional. You can do so after you’re finished by visiting the RESULTS tab of this race and entering your time, you will then be able to download your Finisher's Certificate.
5) Does the race have to be done in one day?
You can do it all at once if you’d like, but you’re also able to do it in increments. For instance, if you registered for the 5k (3.2 miles), you could do a mile a day for three days. It’s completely up to you!
6) Do I have to wait to receive my merchandise to do the event?
No, not at all. The race takes place from October 17 - 31. Please note that all sales are final. We cannot offer exchanges or refunds.
7) How do I download the race day bib and certificate of completion?
We have enabled Pre-Race Bibs, you will be able to access your Bib by navigating to Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Manage Registration. From this page you will be able to share or print your Pre-Race bib using the icons above the bib
8) I’d like to do the race, but don’t need a mask or medal – is it possible not to have it shipped to me?

As part of your registration, a donation is going towards a holiday shopping experience like no other! More than 40 elementary and early middle school children from the Council Rock School District will go shopping with a cop. It’s all part of Shop With a Cop, a national program that pairs local police officers with children who are facing life challenges, including a parent losing a job, tragedy, homelessness, military deployment, economic shortcomings, and other hardships.
The Newtown Township, Newtown Borough and Upper Makefield Police departments are taking part in the special shopping experience with the help and assistance of District Judge Mick Petrucci.
