Ebensburg Beginner 5K Training

With the success of the participants from our summer 5k training groups, it's about time we offer it for the fall too! New for fall 2017, we are offering 2 new 5K training groups to prepare you to Finish or Race the Ebensburg Turkey Trot on November 23rd, 2017. This 8 week program is designed for new runners and/or participants looking to get back into running with coach-led training sessions, clinics, training schedules and much more.

WHO: This year with 2 plans:

• Finish 5K: For the beginning runner with no experience
• Race 5K: For the runner who has been running 2/week for the past 3 months

WHAT: The program includes

• 8 week training program tailored to your experience
• Weekly clinics on various running related topics
• Entry into the graduation 5k (Ebensburg Turkey Trot)
• Tech running shirt
• Private Facebook Group for Q&A with coaches and discussions
• Weekly Newsletter
• Discounts at Up-N-Running

WHEN: We will meet twice weekly as a group

• Tuesdays at 6:15PM | Revloc Park Trail by the Concession Stand/Restrooms
• Saturdays at TBD | YPCC Trailhead of the Ghost Town Trail (300 Prave Street, Ebensburg)

COST: There are two options

• $60 - if you sign up online
  
• $50 - Save $10 if you sign up at Up-N-Running (208 W. High Street, Ebensburg)

ETCETRA: Wear running shoes and comfortable running attire. Be sure to bring your own water bottle. All participants are responsible for their own safety. ALL PARTICIPANTS will be sent the code to sign up for the Ebensburg Turkey Trot once registration is open.
