Description
Join us this summer for our first Thirsty Thursday 5K of 2022. This race will begin and end at the Friendship Fire Company, Frackville. Runners will travel through the Englewood section of Frackville on a course featuring gently flats, downhills, gently rolling hills, and one not so gentle hill! All runners 21+ will receive a free beer courtesy of the Friendship Fire Company. Runners under 21 will receive a free non- alcoholic beverage of their choice.

$2 from every Thirsty Thursday registration will be donated to the Hillside SPCA. You can also make an additional donation HERE.
Can't make a monetary donation? We're also collecting items form Hillside's Wish List. The Hillside SPCA cares for hundreds of animals at any given time. When people think of “donating”, the first thing that comes to mind is money, but they are in need of a great many things, including some items you may have that are no longer of use to you but which the shelter could really use.
Non-clumping cat litter— we just NEVER have enough.
Cleaning supplies such as bleach, disinfectant spray, mops, brooms, etc.
Laundry detergent
Wet and dry dog/cat food
Newspapers (no more shredded paper)
Blankets and towels
Dog and cat toys
Chewies, catnip, rawhide, etc.
Dog leashes and collars
Dog and cat beds
Office supplies
Office equipment (scanner, printer, etc.)
Postage stamps (we mail out many, many thanks yous to our generous supporters)
