Description
WHO: Runners of all ages. Gather your family, friends and co-workers. Walkers are also invited to participate using the same course. The course is stroller and wheelchair accessible. Costumes and props encouraged!
WHAT: The HEROES for HOSPICE 5K is an annual fundraiser benefiting Homeland Hospice. All proceeds fund benevolent care for hospice patients and families.
WHERE: The measured five kilometers (3.1 miles), relatively flat out and back course along the Susquehanna River will begin and end near the Walnut Street Bridge on City Island.
WHEN: Saturday, June 9th, 2018
TIMES: 8:30 AM - 5K
9:10 AM - 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk around City Island
9:30 AM - Awards at Carousel Pavilion
REGISTRATION: 7:15 to 8:15 AM – Race-Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up at Carousel Pavilion
* Kids wanting to participate in the Fun Run can register for FREE, no shirt included. A small token is rewarded.
FEES: $25 until May 25th - shirt guaranteed!
$30 after May 25th and on Race Day - shirts only available while they last (no guarantee!)
SHIRTS: Small, Medium, and Large Unisex Youth and Adult sizes available.
AWARDS: Overall Male and Female, as well as the Top Male and Female in age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
