Location: Stateline Woods Preserve, 814 Merrybell Lane, Kennett Square, PA 19348
Description: The Stateline Loop 10K/5K Trail Race for Conservation benefits The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County whose mission is the perpetual preservation and stewardship of open spaces, natural resources, historic sites, and working agricultural lands throughout southern Chester County. This race begins and ends at the Stateline Woods Preserve and takes runners on the trails through nature preserves as well as privately owned lands. We offer a Supervised Kids Activity Corner for parents who would otherwise have to provide child care during the race. Bring your kids to play games and learn about nature while you run your race. Great prizes will be awarded in all age categories! Our race is race #4 in the Trail Creek Outfitters Trail Race Series. 10K (6.2 mile) or 5K (3.2 mile) trail run around the perimiter of The Land Conservancy's (TLC) nature preserves
When:
Saturday, May 10, 2014. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. Race Starts 9:00 a.m.
Where:
Start/finish is at 814 Marybell Lane Kennett Square, PA entrance to Stateline Woods Preserve off Old Kennett Pike near Kennett Square, PA and Hockessin, DE.
Why:
You can experience great trails through public nature preserves and privately owned lands with scenic views of the Red Clay Creek watershed.
COST
$25 for Registration through April 27 with proceeds going to TLC
$35 for Registration starting April 28
Day-of registration also available.
12 and Under & 13-19 registration is $10 with NO LATE FEES so bring your friends!!
