2020 was rough. Let’s send it on its way and run in a new year!
This year we are fundraising for Pike Gymnastics Academy: Pike Gymnastics is a family owned and community-focused organization, teaching gymnastics & tumbling in a safe, positive and instructive atmosphere. Like most of us, the families of the Pike Gymnastics Academy athletes have been hit hard by the pandemic. Your participation in the Resolution Run will help offset the fees their young athletes have to pay to participate in the Sport that they love in 2021!
The Resolution Run will take place with adherence to Covid guidelines. There will be NO race-day registration: we will coordinate with participants via e-mail prior to 1/1/20 to set up a socially distanced packet pick up date & time for participants who wish to pick up pre-race day. On race day, masks will be required (we will have a supply of masks and hand sanitizer available) for the start line-up and any other times social distancing isn't possible. We will be starting in 15 minute waves of no more than 50 people at one time: participants will cross the timing mat at the start as well as at the finish of the race, so your posted finish time will be your NET time, not the gun start time. Volunteers will be masked and gloved when necessary and we will work to eliminate contact as much as possible. *
The course is an out-and-back 5k run/walk starting in historic Milford Borough with most of it on a quiet flat residential and scenic road. Start and finish at the stunning Milford Columns museum. Once you finish, you can easily make your way around the museum and back across the street to 611 Broad Street (Action Bikes and Outdoor) where there is ample parking.
Personalize your bib with your 2021 resolution! Send an email to email@example.com with "Resolution" in the subject line and your resolution as you'd like it to appear on your bib in the body of the email. If you use a different email than you used for your registration, make sure to provide your name.
Post-race, please cross the finish line and continue to your car and home. We will email race results and awards: Award info will be posted on social media and the awards themselves will be mailed.
The entire event will be taking place outdoors (porto's will be available), so bring warm clothes for before and after.
There will be a participant t-shirt for the first 100 registrants and awards for first, second and third overall female and male and for first, second and third place age group male and female. Again, awards will be mailed.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or text Becki at 845-649-6847 (leave a voicemail if no answer, you'll get a call back as quickly as possible) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
