Bainbridge Fire Department Self-Timed Fun Run

The Bainbridge Fire Department Fun Run & Walk is a 4.1 mile self-timed virtual race to support the Bainbridge Fire Department to support them and all the hard work they do! We want to get everyone in the community involved to be active and raise awareness for volunteer firefighting!  

Things are a little different this year, but that doesn't mean we can't still have a FUN run & walk! We planned a 4.1 mile course following the Northwest River trail, beginning at East Donegal Township Riverfront Park, Marietta PA and ending at the American Legion Park in Bainbridge, PA. The River trail is beautiful and paved and you can feel free to start or end in either direction.  

During the week of Sunday, November 1 through Sunday, November 8th, head to the trail for a walk or run and complete the one-way course. Be sure to take pictures and time yourself and submit when you're done. Feel free to get creative! We will have some judges from the firehouse voting for the most creative pictures. 

Pre-registered runners & walkers will receive a free t-shirt and entered for chances to win give-aways!  **PRIZE winners will be randomly drawn from the list of those who completed the course and submitted times. Prizes will also be awarded to the largest group and most creative photos!!**

If you can't make it on the Riverfront Trail, feel free to participate from anywhere if you can get out and track a 4.1 mile course! Please follow the Pennsylvania Governor's COVID-19 guidelines.

FAQ

How do I submit my time and pictures?
      1. Go to our race page at https://runsignup.com/bfdfunrun
      2. Select "Results" on the top right
      3. Click "Submit Virtual Results" in the blue box near the top
      4. Look up your name under "Participant Lookup"
      5. Next to "Virtual Result Submission" click "Load Activity from File" to upload pictures
      6. Enter your time
      7. Click "Submit Your Time"

When do we get our T-shirts and prizes?
      T-shirts and prizes will be available for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the race. We will notify all by email. 

Are there restrooms along the trail?
      There will be portable toilets at the beginning & end of the trail, as well as at the White Cliffs (just over halfway through the course).
