Dear Ainsley’s Angels of America Community:
 
Together, We Shall. A motto Ainsley’s Angels of America has embraced across the nation to ensure that as a nonprofit we are making the safest and smartest decisions to better the lives of our riders, runners and volunteers as a family, not just individuals.

The health and safety of our riders, runners, volunteers and spectators is the top priority for Ainsley’s Angels of America. Due to the impact and development of coronavirus (COVID-19) and under the directive of national, state and local health experts and officials, the 2020 Ainsley’s Angels Race Series events, the Together We Shall 5K and the Yellow Stairway 6K/12K, have been cancelled.

We know that you are disappointed as much as we are. Tireless hours of planning, partnerships, logistics and dollars have gone into both events. We are saddened that multiple riders will be unable to Roll With The Wind and that some runners will no longer be able to earn their angel wings in what was set to be a monumental day. We also know that you have been training hard for our events. It was not a decision we took lightly.

Despite this disappointing news, Together, We Shall continue to move forward and support the two ambassadorships who are no longer able to host their AARS event. We appreciate the support of our running community through this rapidly evolving situation and hope you will continue to spread the message of inclusion in the months to come.
 

With the cancelation of Yellow Stairway 6K/12K, individuals who have already registered for the event have the following options:

·       Transfer your registration to the 2020 virtual race option and receive race medal in the mail

·       Donate your registration to Ainsley’s Angels

·       Defer your registration to 2021 Yellow Stairway 6K/12K

·       Receive a full refund



 

 Please scroll to the bottom of this page to indicate how you would like to move forward with your registration before March 31st.

Virtual races happen all the time, and allow you to join the fun without the crowds. You simply run the distance on your own, and report your results - we’ll send you instructions. You will receive a medal for your accomplishments in the mail. 

You understand that events are expensive, even when cancelled, and you want us to keep your registration fees to help cover our costs. We deeply appreciate your generosity and look forward to seeing you at an event soon.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Yellow Stairway 6K/12K and Kids Fun Run! With unique race distances to reflect the legacy of our namesake, you are guaranteed an automatic PR while running this flat and easy course through safe neighborhoods. 

Are you returning to this race in 2020? Get ready to reverse the course! Following the race, stay for the after party where you will enjoy a full breakfast and dance party! Every participant will receive an AAmazing medal, awards 3-deep in 10 year age groups, T-Shirts, great swag , children's activities, and more! You don't want to miss this fun family event!
