Philly Kicking Cancer Virtual Walk/Run/Bike Challenge 2023

Mission Statement

Nearly 2 million Americans will learn they have cancer by the end of 2023.  This is in addition to the 18 million Americans diagnosed in previous years.  Cancer continues to impact 1 in 3 people directly and then ripple the lives of their family and friends.  Funds raised by Philly Kicking Cancer support Fox Chase Cancer Center to further efforts in finding cures to all kinds of cancers.

This virtual event enables anyone and everyone to participate in a way that works for them.  Join us independently or with friends/family.  You can participate in your own location, at your own pace and as often as you like.  Run/Walk or Bike! All proceeds go towards supporting cancer research.  

How to Participate

• Register for the race! - you can sign up as an individual or if you want to do the challenge as a group (maybe the kickball team?) you can create or join a team.
• Hit the road! Run/Walk or Bike anywhere, anytime in the month of August. You can download a digital bib from the race website if you want to use it while putting in your miles.
• Record your results to see how you stack up against the rest of the crowd (optional)
• Get Social! Tag us on instagram @phlkickscancer with your activities  and show your support to our challenge

Event Shirts

T-shirts are included with registration. We will designate when items can be picked up locally at O'Neals pub in Philadelphia (611 S 3rd St Philadelphia PA 19147).  

Can I Support The Event Without Participating?

Absolutely! You can support a registrant directly by searching under “Find a Participant”.  Or, if you wish to just make a general donation to our mission you will find the donation link at the top of the event homepage.

Can I Run/Walk/Bike with someone from PKC?

Absolutely!  If you need a buddy or are planning a meet up, send us an email and if possible one of our board members or friends would love to meet up to join you.
